The fruit of my loin.

Well, veg actually. We hauled up some of our veg on Sunday. Ah, family bliss. Calvin was chuffed with our prize winning marrow and courgette, our tomatos, tatties and carrots are brilliant too.

The Good Life.

A new member of the family.

We bought a seahorse on Saturday afternoon. And he's a big bugger too! We got him from a lighting shop called Cotterell just off the Meadows in Edinburgh. Amazing stuff in there, well worth a wee swatch if you're in the area.

Mummenschanz.

We went to see a production by some crowd called mummenschanz on Saturday. It was really cool. Calvin thought it was really funny. Loads of crazy ideas. Visual stuff and that.

Golf Clubs for sale.

My neighbor Duncan is selling a set of golf clubs. Interested? They're a set of Mizuno Pro II Zoid irons. 3 iron - sand wedge. All could be yours for £140. They are in mint condition.

He's also selling a Titleist driver with Titleist head cover. It's a 975J.VS and again, is in mint condition. Don't know what he wants for it but let me know if you are interested.

Chip Shop Awards

Me and some of the guys from work went to the Chip Shop Awards last night. It was shit. The 'comedian' was unbelievably bad. Some guy from Glasgow asking 'do we have anyone from England here?' Jesus.

Apart from that, we did manage to win one full award and one runners up. This makes us the greatest design company in Europe. Fact.

Head back in the shit.

That's the holiday finished and it's back to work. Boo!

God I was so tired on Monday morning. What's with getting up at 7.30 in the morning. That's a mugs game. It got to about 10am and I was tired and hungry. Look at the picture of my office at lunchtime. Can you feel the design vibes just flying around the floor?

My boss asked me to put a wee paragraph or two together for an article the Drum magazine is doing on people who work within the design industry and their dogs. I don't know what it's all about but here's the photie that's going in. Brilliant I'm sure you'll agree.

Sharlene has stopped working at the weekend now. Yes! So we are looking forward to doing nothing together every weekend.

Calvin went back to school yesterday. Hurray! He was really excited about it. Primary 7. Jesus!

Golfing at The Glen.

My neighbor Duncan took me for a round at The Glen Golf Club tonight. It's down the east coast beside North Berwick. The views are fantastic!

Anyway, I totally muffed the front nine and took 50 (fifty)! Mind you, that did include a 9 at the third (damn that rough is rough) and a seven some where else. However, I did manage to get around the back nine in 38 which was three over par.

I was 18 over par (shizzle) but, that was including:

  • the 9 and a 7
  • playing the course for the first time
  • playing of the medal tees; and
  • competition rules.

Next time, I'm bound to shoot an 87.

Peebles for the day.

Went down to Peebles on Monday. Nice place. Lots of wee shops and a Greggs. Yes!

We popped into the wee artist studio just down one of the lanes and
bought a really nice piece. It's a brooch which is designed in the shape of an owl. We always try to drop in to the guys studio as he's really cool, layed back and his stuff is great. When you buy anything he puts his wee signature on the back. The owl brooch he said is quite rare as he doesn't normally do them in the green.

On the way back we nearly got killed by some old twat trying to over take a car coming towards us. Luckily Sharlene was on the ball and slammed on the brakes before he ploughed in to us head on. Totally bricked it. What a dick. He wasn't even a young twat driver, he was an old bloke driving a Fiat Bravo or something.

The Hearts are going to party...

Oh God! My wee bro Simon just sent me this pic of the Hearts team going out for their Christmas party in 1988 and my old school mate Scott Gardiner, wearing the 'Cooperman' outfit, is in the front row between Walter Kidd and Wayne Foster. Weird thing was, he didn't know it was a fancy dress do.

Ryan Man's birthday!

Yipee for Ryan Man. He's reached his 38th year in style with a camping weekend up in Blair Athol. Me, Sharlene, Ross, Steve, Katherines and Ryan Man all camped it up and had a brilliant time.

We stayed at The River Tilt caravan park and enjoyed a brilliant meal at The Loft Restaurant where Ry got all his prizes.

On the Saturday morning we shot off early to get a round of golf in at Taymouth Castle Golf Club. A brilliant choice from Steve. Can't really remember but I'm sure Steve and I beat Ryan and Ross 6 and 5 but it's not really important. Yeah it was 6 and 5 now I think about it.

We visited the House or Bruar outlet but it was all a little too tweedy and plus fours for me. We did, however, go on the Falls of Bruar walk. Fantastic woodland scenery. I'm going to try and get a piture library thingy sorted out soon and I'll put the piccies up.

We had a mad big BBQ on Saturday night and broke the toilets on Sunday morning.

We all went to Pitlochry on the Sunday and had a wee wander around town and went to the Pitlochry dam and fish ladder. Really cool seeing the salmon working their way up stream.

A great weekend, guys.

My wee brothers new car.

My wee brother, who's a fanny, is about to get a new car (woo-ooooo-oooooooo-ooo-oooo-ohhh!). A cheeky Renault Megane Scenic in black to match his heart.

His wee family is about to get 25% bigger and so he needs the people carrier. God, it only seems like yesterday when he was wearing his Roland Rat glasses and going about telling everyone that he was the Milky Bar kid.

And now he's got him, Lorraine, Molly and Zac and another on the way. But that big family doesn't stop him from finding the time to call his best big brother at least once a week.

Check out the pictures of his two children.

Ryan Boy is back with us!!!

Ryan is making a recovery. He was chatting away tonight after our wee hospital visit and has got his appetite back. He totally can't wait to get tore into his breakfast tomorrow - four days without food - aaaaargh!

Check out his nice wee scar and his big giant hand.

3d or not 3d (I thank you)

Been working on some 3d stuff and that. It's pretty tricky.

After three years I've managed to do a sea scape. Pity I can't show the whole movie instead of some grabs, but it's 12Mb for only two and a half seconds of shizzle.

Took about 6 hours to render it too! Well worth it though, I'm sure you'll agree.

Next stop - Finding Shrek!

ps. One of the pictures above, I didn't do. Can you see which one?

Ryan boy

Poor wee Ry. He got his appendix removed the other day and his guts were all smelly. Get well soon, Bud-nut.

It's the start of my holidays!

Sharlene, Calvin and I went in to Edinburgh to do the tourist thing today. It was really cool. We went to an art exhibition which was quality. The artist we went to see is called Ron Mueck and his stuff is the berries. He does these models of humans that are frighteningly real - except they are either gigantic or really small.

We also went for a walk around the High Street where Sharlene showed me some brilliant buildings that I didn't even know were there. Then we took a wee daunder down Victoria Street: I haven't been there for years. We dipped in to a shop called Focus which comes recommended by Steve and Ryan – it was pretty sweet.

My first blog ever

Hello people of the Wordl! This is my first ever go at blogging so go easy on me. If it all looks a bit gash, blame Ry.

Anyway, this is a wee test to see if any pictures can be uploaded. Left, is a picture from the Allianz Arena in Germany. Pretty sweet.
