Calvin's latest models
He's made three tiny wee characters from Disney's Cars.
Mator, Ramone and Lightning with monster truck wheels.
He also made a spider that he left on Sharlene's pillow for a laugh.

Professor Brainiac.
Sharlene has got her little chemistry set ticking over. All the levels for pH, nitrite, nitrate and ammonia are good and the stability is good so, fingers crossed, it wont be long until we can start putting in corals and fish and shopping trolleys into the marine tank. Cool.

WtF!?
This crawled out of somewhere last night too!
I looks like a slug but with a real bright blue shell on its back.

I've got crabs.
We have finally got some 'live rock' for our marine tank. It already looks better than just sand and water which it has been for the last two weeks. After about an hour, me and Sharlene were staring in the tank and talking about how cool it is going to be, a wee crab climbed out from under a rock! Don't know what kind he is and he'll probably end up eating all the fish and corals and stuff. But at least he seems happy enough to stay alive for more than an hour.

Allez les foncé bleus!
We got tickets! Yes!
I don't know how, but after trying and trying and trying to get through on the phone last Friday, I eventually got through and, after waiting for about 20 minutes to get connected to the ticket office, bought three family tickets for the big Scotland match coming up.
Big Terry Henry is bricking it already.
Lucky Mascot.
Calvin has made a Simpsons character called Sir Oinksalot. He's the mascot for a rival college in [1F02] Homer Goes to College. Homer pulls it tail whilst saying 'Curly, straight, curly straight...'

Poor Steve Irwin
In memory of Steve Irwin, we have decided to get a wee marine fish set up. We've bought the tank and the sand and Sharlene set it up on Sunday. We need to wait for two weeks so that the hingmys settle down and then we'll go and pick up the 'live rock' (holey boulders with bugs in). Once they've settled in (probably another two weeks) then we can start putting in Nemo and stingrays. Poor wee Steve, he now sleeps with the fishes.
Pretty impressive big tank I think you'll find.

Here's some of the pics from our recent camping weekend in bonnie Blair Athol.
